Five years since I made this game quickly for the NaNoRenO 2019 game jam, I'm pleased to announce an upcoming major update with completely redrawn sprites, a Chinese translation, voice acting, and many QoL updates. This was one of my announcements for the 13th Anniversary of LockedOn games this month, but I wanted to post it here as well for followers of this game.

Every once in a while, I like to do what I call "housekeeping", going over my old projects and seeing if there's anything that needs to be fixed or improved. Prison of Lies was always in the back of my mind as needing an update, since I did not think it could be released on Steam in its current state. This original version will still be available to play, and the new version will remain free.

I hope to launch the update to the game before the end of the year. I hope you look forward to it!
