Release XXXV // Chapters 86 & 87
Release XXXV is here!
Release XXXV contains two chapters, four music tracks and four new bios. I also updated Detective White and Detective Porter's sprites.
Whew! Well, I just barely made it in time... fortunately it all came together, and now I have a solid game plan for how I want the plot to go, which was a little sketchy before. Hopefully that means I can keep putting these Releases out every Friday!
Even though the chapters were short, there was a lot to do... when the chapters are short it almost always means I wrote them the day of putting out the Release. And guess what — that's exactly what happened!
I did not get the chance to put together a poll but I'm hoping to launch that in the coming week instead.
The Sixth Stage — the final story arc — has begun. Now I have only five more weeks until the story of Methods is complete, and then about two weeks of revisions and additional features.
Until next time!
— LockedOn.

I was pretty worried I wouldn't be able to get to this during the week, because - I'm also going into the wonderland that is medical stuff in America. That's the real mystery, ahahaha...
But, hoo. Actually being here...
To say that it's pretty exciting to have been through a multi-stage project from the beginning until the end is underselling it. I can still recall a time I was trying to tie Hackett's chances of success to my own fevered theories!..
Loved these preludes. The way you transitioned Roel's method into the setup for the mystery was just...
Good outfit, good dog, good mystery.
(And having this one broken into chapters, potentially with suspect interviews, really makes it feel higher-stakes.)
When Mr. Taffy showed up...
Yeah, anyway, whatever happens from here on out, I'm excited. Though, I do have one complaint, and that is that Gottina Wreck is an amazing name, definitely the kind of name you could imagine being... Embarrassing enough to create an elabourate suicide attempt to hide, utilising all your experience as being a trophy wife for the CEO of Skull Druggery, Inc?! Aha! Send, 100%, no bonus question.
I'll be here Wish(t)ing that Roel's investigations proceed smoothly.
Best new track, Witnesses. Definitely captures that dome-stage-set feel.
I wish you the best of luck in navigating our godawful healthcare system! I'm doing my best to elect the Detective who has solved the mystery of how to give healthcare to all — and bring to justice the serial killer that is the health insurance industry. Those dastardly fiends...
Anyway, obviously can't say much here but I think you'll be surprised. :)
Warms my heart hearing that. It's all we can do in this Reiwa era? To stand together? All of us? And on that note - trying to do the same, here. Feeling weirdly optimistic, actually - damned if I can say why, though. :P
Oh, and because I forgot! Looking forward to that poll, whenever it comes around!
I'm pretty optimistic myself — I'm seeing these huge crowds and polling on issues, I think people are finally waking up and that gives me a lot of hope for what's to come no matter what happens in the primary. Ah — thanks for reminding me. I need to get that out!
